What is the Advance CRM Portal?

The Advance CRM Portal is a custom Odoo application designed to bring core CRM functionalities directly to the frontend web portal. Instead of navigating the full Odoo backend, assigned users can simply log into their portal account to view, track, create, and edit their assigned leads in a clean, user-friendly interface. This Portal is also a part our Advance Employee Portal.

  • Frontend Lead Management: Users can view a complete list of their assigned leads directly from the "My Leads" menu on the portal.

  • Create New Leads on the Fly: A convenient "Create New Lead" button allows authorized users to instantly input new prospects into the system without needing backend access.

  • View & Edit Capabilities: Portal users can click into individual lead records to view detailed information, update statuses, and edit lead data as the deal progresses.

  • Advanced Filtering: Easily sort and filter through portal leads to find exactly what you need in seconds.

  • Strict Access Control: You maintain complete control over who gets to see the CRM menus. Only users assigned to the specific "Custom Portal - CRM Access" group will have the portal options visible to them.

How to Set It Up (Quick Guide)

We’ve made configuration as simple as possible. Here is how you can grant CRM portal access to a user:

  1. Link the User: Open the Employee Profile, navigate to the HR Settings tab, and select the appropriate user in the "User" field.

  2. Assign the Group: Go to Settings --> Users & Companies --> Groups.

  3. Grant Access: Search for the group named Custom Portal - CRM Access and open it. Add the specific users to the order line.

  4. Start Managing: Once assigned, the user can log into the website portal and instantly see the new CRM Leads menu!

Note: Security is paramount. If a user is not added to the custom group, the CRM menus will remain completely hidden from their portal view.
